Ok, so Ethan is really ten & a half months old now but I'm just getting around to posting an update. I took the picture when he was ten months old, though!
Ethan is so much fun & a little stinker all at the same time. He is drawn to anything that he shouldn't play with - fireplace rocks, pieces of plastic, cords, choking hazards. We have to keep a close eye on him! He's gotten more vocal - he shrieks when you take away said items. Sorry bud, we kinda want to keep you around!
He's also gotten even more attached to me & had some separation anxiety lately. Not too bad but noticeable. He fusses a little when I drop him off at our daycare provider's house sometimes but gets over it when she feeds him breakfast (he loves to eat). If I'm in the room, he pretty much demands my attention - unless my dad or Michael's dad is in the room. He adores his grandpas & will go to them any time. Alex was also a grandpa's boy. Kinda funny since it's typically their grandmas that feed them, diaper them, etc but I guess they love hanging with the guys!
Ethan's top two teeth FINALLY came through. We had a couple tough nights before it happened. Nothing too bad - he just woke up a few times a night, which he rarely does. So far since they've poked out, he's been sleeping great. He still bites my shoulder often, which I do not appreciate. He really can be a stinker!
He's still eating great. He tried scrambled eggs awhile back & I don't think he liked the texture. He'd take a bite, make a hilarious face & spit it out (repeatedly). He loves feeding himself finger food. Such a big boy.
No walking yet but he's taken a few little steps here & there. He can still stand & balance for quite awhile by himself. He prefers crawling, though.
I can't believe he'll be one in less than two months. Where did my baby go??
The boys had fun this month in the chair. Alex was holding this light up wand that we use sometimes to get Ethan's attention. As you can see from the pictures, it works!
