A lot has happened this month - he rolls back to tummy & tummy to back like a pro, he's sleeping in his bed & not the bouncer chair (yay!), he will get up on all fours & rock like he's about to start crawling & as you can see from the picture above, he wants so badly to sit up by himself. I kept trying to lean him back into the chair but he wasn't having it. He hasn't quite mastered his balance so I have several pictures of him toppling forward. I don't think it will be long before he can keep himself upright, though!
He's still sleeping pretty well in his bed. He'll usually either sleep all night without any problems until 7 or 8 or he'll wake up around 5:30 or 6. Sometimes he goes back to sleep but sometimes he's wide away & ready to party. I prefer the 7 or 8 wake up - ha.
We got out the jump-a-roo a few weeks ago & he loves it. The boy is a jumper! He also likes to lay on a blanket, roll onto his tummy & grab toys. He's not crawling yet but he can get where he wants to go by rolling or scooting. We haven't baby proofed our new house yet, but we need to do it soon. This boy is going to be fully mobile in no time.
Ethan went on his first trip this month. We went to a state park to celebrate Father's Day with our families. We rented two cabins & had a great time. It was over a three hour drive to get there but both Alex & Ethan did great. Ethan is so easy going - we are very lucky! He loved being around the families. There were a lot of people to entertain him & give him lots of attention! He's gotten pretty expressive lately & loves to squeal & giggle - especially when he has an audience.
Of course Alex wanted to take a picture with his brother - it's becoming routine with Ethan's monthly photo shoots. So cute.
Enjoying his jump-a-roo at the cabin
Love those sweet faces!
