The months are flying by! Ethan is seven months old (actually closer to seven & a half since it's taken me awhile to post this). He's a busy, busy boy! He's crawling everywhere & doesn't like to sit still for long. Case in point - I could not get him to sit in the chair for his seven month picture. I'm shocked I got even one picture that wasn't blurry because I had to constantly be ready to catch him from crawling off the chair!
Ethan tried a lot of new foods this month. He's a fan of just about everything. Peas & carrots aren't his favorite but he'll eat them in between bites of cereal. He gobbles down sweet potatoes & most fruit. Alex was always a good eater. I'm hoping Ethan will be, too!
He still has just two teeth but we've been wondering if another one is coming in. He sometimes wakes up in the middle of the night or early in the morning & has trouble going back to bed. But he has great nights, too, without any interruptions.
He's still a happy boy most of the time but we're starting to notice he may be a little spoiled. He pretty much just has to squawk or cry & we give him the attention he wants. I thought the second child was supposed to be more ignored. Ha! I think since he's usually a pretty happy guy, we can't help but notice when he's not.
It's been a little bit of an adjustment for Alex now that Ethan is fully mobile. Ethan loves playing (aka chewing) on Alex's toys. Alex is usually pretty good about it but sometimes gets frustrated. Overall though, Alex is really good with his little brother. I love seeing them interact together. Melts my heart!
I just love this age. I loved it with Alex & I love it with Ethan. It's been a fun summer!
